Got a call early this morning from Dr. Pierce's office saying they have moved up the scheduled chemo treatment to start on Monday (9 days sooner). We go in later today for rad #9.
He has been like a pregnant woman after dill pickles reminiscing and craving the oyster sandwiches he had as a kid down south-French bread stuffed with fried oysters. Jonathan brought home a quart of fresh shucked oysters yesterday and I sauteed them up this morning with lots of Cajun seasoning. I made and sliced a loaf of French bread lengthwise and stuffed it full of the oysters, then drizzled the EVOO from the pan over them. He was salivating as it soaked into the warm bread. I think this was a craving-satiation accomplished! Sound have grabbed my camera.

Love and prayers always,

Jill - that is a great post about Dean! (Mike craved a hamburger after his brain surgeries, but the Mexican hamburgesea just isn't the same as we have here.) Now on to the chemo. We're thinking about you everyday.
