Long time friends Paul and Karen met us in the radiation waiting area for Dean's Friday treatment. Dean and Paul met decades ago while working on a job in southern Cal. Afterward we walked over to the coffee shop for a cup and a short visit. Dean is a real coffee snob and was surprised that the automatic espresso machine actually made a good tripleshot. Walking back to the parking garage, Dean said he felt stronger in his legs today. I noticed his walk was better and we still climb the short flight of stairs.
Today another friend came by with his chainsaw to cut up the limbs (from the ice storm) that are big enough for firewood. We met Dennis when he worked on our house addition years ago. Our heartfelt thanks, Dennis.
Today after walking down the road a good city-block length and back, Dean was short of breath. He slept semi-sitting up last night on the recliner part of the couch and thought it helped. He will need to be rested up this weekend as Monday is going to be taxing--rad #10 at 9:40 am, then 3.5 hours in chemo.
Thank you all for your kind and gracious thoughts and prayers.

Dear Dean and Jill,
Just to remind you of our constant prayers for you in these difficult days. Medical insurance is a pain in the neck so often these days, but we will pray for a quick resolution with Medicare. Our God truly is mighty and we trust Him for all the unseen that occurs in our lives.
Love and many prayers,
Ginny & Bill Norman
