Shocking News

Dean had several spasms in his hand and arm over the weekend, but we kept calm and just waited for them to pass. On Monday I took him to a new chiropractor Dr. Renquist, who gave him a good treatment. He felt much better. His right hand was still numb, but the next spasm was lessened.

I didn't hear anything from anyone on Monday, so early Tuesday morning I called Dr. Hall's office and said so. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Hall called and said it looks like cancer. He apologized for bluntly giving me the news over the phone. He said there were a couple tumors in his brain. but that it didn't appear to be 'brain cancer', that the primary cancer was elsewhere. I asked him how or what I would tell Dean and he offered to tell him. So I gave Dean the phone, slipped around the corner and told Jonathan. We are all in shock.

We covet your prayers.
